We are back!
We are back on track with the new site and new focus.
We changed from being a community website based around Jabber/XMPP to an Instant Messaging service provider where we focus on only allowing real, non-spamming human beings in our user base. We will off course focus on security as well to give all of our users the best IM service possible.
What will happen from now...
What will happen from now is the following. We have completed the transfer of all our old users to the new website. Old users who log in to their account will notice that they cannot longer search for other site members. It is from now on only possible to change your personal information and request account changes after log in. The old users will notice that their e-mail forwarding option is inactive in their profile. This will be synchronized later on. Any existing e-mail forwarding still works. We will however stop the standard e-mail box service for our old users. These users will be contacted about this and will get the option to activate e-mail forwarding in stead.
Cleaning up our database...
To make sure that we get rid of potential spammers and bots we will be doing some cleaning of our existing user base. Old abandoned accounts will be deleted and we will take other measures to ensure that every user of JabberLive! is legitimate user.
Security
Security is one of our main focus areas and we will change the site and security certificates in the near future to the highest standard possible.
Ongoing changes
We are not yet up to date when it comes to all the information we want to provide you. We will spend the coming weeks on expanding the site with more information, tips and tricks about our IM-service and Jabber/XMPP in general.
